Finally Five

Kyle has wanted to be five for so long. I would say ever since he was four. I don't know what the big deal with five is. If it was up to me he would still be one.

This is when he was 21 months old. He loves his Bobo and he used to always have it on his head like that. I guess to keep his hands free to do whatever else needed to be done. This picture was at Grandma Kathy's house at Christmas time. I'm pretty sure that was the time we forgot Bobo at their house and Kyle was so worried about him. We called and Dad pretended to be Bobo and talked to Kyle and told him he would be home soon. The next day we got Bobo in the mail. Kyle still sleeps with Bobo. The other night when he was sick he told me he needed Bobo because he would make him feel better. I thought that was my job!

I can't believe how blond his hair was. He was 18 months before he got his first hair cut. And he didn't even really need it. I just thought he should have one before he was a big brother. I remember a few ladies at church telling me that I should shave his head so that his hair would grow faster. Crazy ladies he was just a baby and he was cute!

He has always loved his stuffed animals.

This is what it has come to....Transformer Birthday Party. What happened to the cute little tractor cake that I used to make. The big thing in pre-school is Transformers so we have had a Transformer Christmas and now a Transformer Birthday. Kyle told me a long time ago that he wanted a Transformer cake. It wasn't has hard to find something as JD coyote cake but still hard.

It was one of the easier cakes I have done because it was mostly gray and I just stuck some Transformers on it. But I thought it turned out pretty cute.

The night of his birthday we had some a dinner with Ken and Janie, Brian, Rachel, Shana, and Sean, Garrett, Stacy, Kyler and Brooke, and CJ. It was lots of fun.

All the kids but Sean. They all want to sit by Shay!

Kyle getting ready to have some cake.

It does kill me just a little when I have to cut into it.

Opening presents. He got lots of cool things.
Then the next day we had his pre-school friends party. And I have to say....not my favorite thing. He had Tyson of course which we love and is a good boy. Then he had just a few from school. One was Pablo, who is so nice and kind and his little brother Luis. And then there was CALEB who drives me CRAZY! He is so bossy and spoiled. Anyway nuff said about him. Kyle had fun so that is all that matters....right.

Again got lots of cool things.
The party was during lunch so I asked Kyle what he wanted for his party. He told me Peanut butter and Jelly. Which if you know Kyle that is his very favorite thing to eat unless you give him Peanut butter and Honey. And apparently Kyle is the only one that likes it because he is the only one that ate his. After lunch we had cake that was left over from the night before. And as you can see the #5 is starting to fall off. But that was the best side of the cake.

Oh! We weren't done yet. That night we had Zoey and Deacon over to play and have dinner and cake. Kyle was so excited for Zoey to come over. When Deacon comes he has to get himself a sword and the rest of the garb.

He is just a cute boy.

Fighting with the balloons....what else do you do with balloons. Brittony and I were secretly popping all of the others.....what else do mothers do with balloons.

All in all I would say it was a pretty great birthday. Kyle such a sweet boy, we love him so much! Sometimes I do wish he was still one and my little baby. But every stage with him has been fun. I can't wait to see what he does next.

    Also, that cake was delicious.

And, those pictures of Deac are hilarious. I had forgotten about the balloon fighting.
