Christmas 2010

This Christmas was great. The week before Christmas me and the boys went to Mom's for the weekend. We had a really good time. We went to Aunt Karma's with Mom, and Robyn and made candy. It was so good. When we got home I got ready to have Coy and his family come to spend the night on the way to Mom's. When they left I got ready for our Christmas party we have every year. We always have a lot of fun playing Bingo for cheap gifts and then we play the left, right game for more cheesy gifts. And of course their is always good food and good friends.
On Christmas eve we just stayed home and had a nice night. The boys left Santa some cookies and milk and eggnog. They were totally excited about Santa and they went right to sleep so he could come. Kyle gets up every night at about 11:30 to go to the bathroom so Santa didn't come until after he went back to sleep. He woke up again at 3:30 and came in and told me that he finally came. We got up for a few minutes and they actually went back to bed since that they got to take their pillow pets.

Santa brought them each a pillow pet and a Leapster. Kyle came in at 4:30 wanting to get up and open presents. Thank goodness he has an alarm clock. I told him to go back to bed until 6:00 and we would get up and open presents and play with our stuff. We were very lucky they didn't get up til 8:00. I couldn't believe we got to sleep in on Christmas.

Matt opening the camouflage cup the boys painted for him. It is for his milk shakes that he has almost every night with his popcorn that he eats out of his popcorn bowl that they painted for him last year. I think it was his favorite present.

We were done with presents by 8:30. I started breakfast after that. Matt's parents and Heather came over to eat. We had so much food, it was pretty good.

The boys got a basketball and it was such a nice day we decided to go to the park and play some ball before we went to Matt's parents house.

It was tons of fun! The boys loved it.

Ken opening the buckle that Matt made for him. He was surprised.
On the way home we asked the boys what their favorite part of their day was. JD loved all of it because that is what he always says. Kyle loved pillow pets and basketball. Matt like the basketball the best. I have to say I am with JD. I love being at our home for Christmas and all the special memories that we have every year. The boys are really starting to remember the special little things we do every year and that just makes it more fun.
