So this year Kyle really wanted to have a few friends over to play the Wii for his birthday. At first he wanted to invite three other boys because there can only be four players. We had a little talk with JD and told him that he would be able to have a little turn but it was Kyle's party and him and his friends would be the ones playing. JD came to accept this. Then one day Kyle told me he would just have Jordon and Alex over so JD would be able to play the whole time with them. I thought it was a very nice thing.

Kyle decided he wanted a Batman cake. I know it isn't wonderful but he was excited about it. I couldn't figure out how to do the cupcakes so I just wrote "Batman" on all of them. Then I used all of my yellow food coloring on the cupcakes and only had golden yellow left. Who new when it says golden yellow it means orange.

Kyle was coming down with a pretty bad cough and cold but he still wanted to have his friends over. So we did but by the time they left and we had cake and opened presents he was pretty spent. He couldn't quit coughing and went right to bed after opening his presents.

He really looks excited, doesn't he?

JD picked out a FBI package at the "Dollar Treat (tree)". It was broken and in the trash the next day.

Matt got him a BB gun. He was so excited to give it to him. Kyle loved it.

The boys had to have a safety lesson before they could touch it.

Learning how to aim.

By the time he was done he had a pretty shot up little can.

JD had a few tries too.

I would say it was a pretty great birthday. I can't believe that boy is seven, but I'm sure I will say that every time he has a birthday. He is such a good boy. He is kind to his brother and his family. He is doing great in school. We couldn't ask for two better little boys.
