Christmas 2013

Our Christmas was fantastic as usual!  It seemed like we didn't have a ton of time between Thanksgiving and Christmas to fit in everything we like to do but was still fit in plenty.
Me and the boys made it to the parade of lights and froze.  But thanks to our friends the Yost's we stayed somewhat warm with hot chocolate and a warm office to stay in until the parade started.

JD and his friends Kaysen and Tyler.

The boys slept under the tree a few times this year and one time got to stay up and watch movies.  They think it is pretty cool to cozy up under the tree.

They helped me make treats.  They made their usual, the chocolate marshmallows.

The last day of school before their Christmas party in their classes they have a sing a long.

I helped in Kyle's class for his party.  They had to try to get a red pom pom on the end of a ribbon on their nose not using their hands.
On Christmas eve we had our North Pole Breakfast and the boys got a basket full of fun things to do that day.  They each got a new pair of jammie pants a movie and popcorn and hot chocolate and reindeer food.
Grandma Kathy was with us and we made these fun little snowman ornaments.

Kyle and JD woke up about 1:30am and looked at all the fun things Santa left.  The big thing they got was a trampoline.  They also got lego sets.

We got to sleep until about 6:30 then we got up and opened presents!

Last year it was so nice on Christmas that we were able to go play basketball.  This year we were able to again.  I hope it becomes a regular thing because it sure is fun.
Then we went up the Ken and Janie's and opened presents up there and had some dinner.

I made Ken a calendar of pictures from this last year.
They boys were sent to bed and were sound asleep within 10 minutes.  They had such a fun day.  So did Matt and I.
