Aunt Karma had a really nice 125th birthday party for my great-grandma Mary Georgina Jackson, at her home for all of the girl decedents. Which is the home where Mary lived and raised her family, and where my grandpa and grandpa raised their family and now my Aunt Karma lives. The party was so nice. Cynthia (Jackson) Price made a nice dvd of lots of pictures and music. For lunch we had one of Mary's casseroles and her apple dumplings. Mary had 12 children. A daughter of each child got up and gave a memory that their parent had of their mother. It was a amazing day!Matt's birthday is also in April. He was 28 this year. I had to take a picture of the cake with all the candles burning it gave me a little chuckle. He always likes me to make him a sprinkle cake.
He is still able to blow out all of his candles.
Such a handsome bunch, I have to say!
And of course Easter! The boys love dying the eggs. We also went to Brittony's for a Easter party but I forgot my camera. They had an Easter egg hunt in the back yard and played bunny games.
On Easter Sunday we had breakfast at Ken and Janie's and the boys went on yet another Easter egg hunt, but they acted like it was their first. They each got a shirt and shorts and a movie from the Easter Bunny.
Matt even had the day off so we were able to spend a nice day with him.So that was our April more or less. It was nice to go home and see some family. Easter is always fun. And Matt is getting older.
