The 4th

Mom came for the 4th of July this year. She had gone out to see Grandma and Coy and his family. She was coming through and was able to watch the fireworks with us. She got here about 30 minutes before they started. The boys of course were way happy to see her.

Getting ready for the fireworks to start. We can see them pretty good from our house. There are lots of better places around town but there's no place like home....right.

My camera wouldn't take very good pictures but I got a few then gave up and just watched.

Kyle loved all the fireworks and kept saying they looked like his swinging tree. There was a really neat smiling face one I liked. They lasted for about 30 minutes. JD was getting tired and finally relaxed and wasn't talking 100 mph like he always does. He about fell asleep a few times but perked back up toward the end.

Mom had to get up early and get home. So the boys only got to see her during the fireworks. They love when she comes and hate to see her leave. I told them we would be going to see her in a few weeks and they were ok with that.
