All Alone

So today when me and JD were getting ready to go pick up Kyle from school JD came in and said his tummy hurt. I look at him and thought he might throw up....then he did. Thank goodness I was able to get him to the bathroom. So I called the school and asked Janie if she would get Kyle and take him home. So Kyle went home with Janie and we decided that he better spend the night just in case JD was contagious. This is the first night that they have been apart. I think they are both a little anxious about it. Kyle has called twice, the first time I talked to him for a few minutes and asked him about his day all Kyle wanted to do is talk about JD and find out why he was sick and what he was doing. JD wanted to talk to Kyle, so they talked for about 5 minutes about various things. When I put JD to bed he kept asking me when Kyle would be back and started to cry. I told him he would be back tomorrow and asked him if he wanted to sleep with Bobo and take care of him for Kyle while he was gone. He liked that. Then Kyle called back when he was going to bed to tell us goodnight. I was starting to talk to him and he cut me off and asked if he could talk to JD then he would talk to me. They talked for another few minutes about whatever they forgot to tell each other earlier. JD was still awake when Kyle had called even though he had been in bed for about 45 minutes. It was like he was able to relax after he talked to Kyle and go to sleep. I am so glad they are such good little friends. They fight just like most brothers but they also love to be with each other.
