About a week ago I went into Kyle's class to help his teacher with some class projects. At dinner I was telling Matt about it and said that there was a little girl that was pretty cute. Kyle perked right up at this and asked who I was talking about. I could tell he had someone on his mind. So I asked him who he thought I was talking about. He said Bella. "She is pretty cute" He says. I was a little taken a back for a minute. Bella is a tiny little girl and is pretty cute, but that is not who I was talking about.
So yesterday we asked if he got in trouble and he said no but one girl had to stay in from recess.
Me: Who?
Kyle: I don't want to tell.
Me: I won't be mad.
Kyle (after a little pushing): Bella
Me: She did. That is ok you can still like her. (he thinks I won't let him like her if she gets in trouble....I don't know where he comes up with these things.)
Kyle: Ya, and another girl had to stay in too.
Me: Who?
Kyle: Kiara, I thought Mrs. Goehl was going to say Kyle since they both start with "K" (the k sound). It made my tummy hurt for a minute.
That boy hates to be in trouble...Thank Goodness! He also loves his recess.
