Applebees, New Apron and Cinderella

So the other day me and Brittony and Andy were talking and decided that we needed to get out of the house for a few hours and get ourselves some well deserved dessert. Andy was not able to go. But it is going to be a new thing that we do for sure! We talked and talked about where to go. There are not too many choices in Delta, and I wanted something substantial (of course). Davetos was not going to cut it. So we decided we would go to Applebees after looking at few different places dessert menus on the internet. Yes, I know, we really researched but if you know us you would not expect any less. Jennifer Yost came with us and since she is pregnant she also wanted to get the sampler appetizer. But she could not eat it all by her self (of course) so we helped. Then we finally got our much anticipated Triple Chocolate Meltdown. And behold......

Yes it was as good as it looks! The menu did say it was enough to share but it was not even a consideration.

After we left Applebees we went over to Target to look around. I found me an apron. I have been wanting one for quite a while but they are so expensive but I was able to find a good deal. And it is really cute. I put it on today and it really looks like a dress. JD saw it and like always he lets me know he likes my new clothes. Then he asked me if I would dance in it and make it spin around. He was very intrigued by this. He told me I danced like Cinderella and that I was pretty. He is such a sweet boy. I still had it on when we knelt down to say prayers and when JD says his prayers it is pretty much he is thankful for everything that he can see. So this was his prayer.....Thanks for the oven, thanks that dad will be safe....thanks for the couch....thanks for mom to have her clothes on.....thanks for mom to have this on and this on (pointing to my shirt and my apron.....thanks for the party book..... Anyway you get the idea he went on like that for a few minutes. Such a funny boy.
