Halloween
This was actually the first year that we really did the whole cleaning out the pumpkin and carving it. It was really fun. The boys had a good time deciding how to make the faces on the pumpkin.
I had the boys pose for this picture because they were really freaked out by the feel of the gunk in the pumpkin. So I am the one that really cleaned them out.
They were pretty happy with the end result.
These are the cupcakes I made for Kyles pre-school party.
JD and I went to help with the party. The classes went to other classes to show their "story book outfits" apparently they can't really celebrate Halloween. JD loves to go to the pre-school and act like a big boy.
The week of Halloween Matt was listening to the radio and he answered a trivia question and got four free tickets to a magic show in Montrose on Halloween. Mom was here so we all went to the show before we went to the church party. I didn't take any pictures of the actual magic show because it was such a disappointment. It was boring and long and miserable. Any we sat in the front row hoping we would get called to go up and do a trick but that didn't even work, even when Kyle yelled at him that he had money!!!!!! So we left early and went to the church party getting ready in the car on the way.
At the church they had lots of different kid games. This was the boys doing the "Chicken Dance".
I really don't know how I talked the boys into being ghosts. It was so easy.....well for me. My friend Andy made their costumes.
This is doing Truck or Treat. This picture makes me think of "ET".
They had a big truck trailer set up that was a haunted house. Lots of bigger kids turned around and decided it was to scary. I kept asking the boys if they wanted to go in and they didn't change their minds. So all three of went in I had to hold both of them and every time turned a corner or I could see something coming I had to say we are just little really loud and hope they got the hint not to scare us too bad. They loved it and I was happy we came out the other side not crying. It was a fun night.
