Field Day

The last week of school they have a fun field day. When I was in school we had a day that we went out side and did different things too but we called it a Track meet and it seemed liked we ran and ran until we fell down dead tired. This "Field Day" was tons of fun. The day before the whole class made their own tie-dye shirt so they all looked the same.
They had already done one of their stations when I got there so they were on to kicking shoes through a hoop. The older classes were nice enough to put the whole field day together. Some were really good with the little kids and some not so patient.

JD came with me so Mrs. Goehl was nice enough to let him get in and do all the fun things too.

JD got to just throw his shoe into the hoop.

The next game was "Messy Back Yard" it was fun to watch. The kids were split into two teams and had to get all the balls on their side to the other side. It looked like maddnessbut the kids knew what they were doing except JD he just went willy-nilly kicking balls but no one seemed to noticed.

This one it seemed like they just ran around around in a circle throwing beanbags at each other.

This was Hilarious! They had to bounce on the big balls and go around some cones. Kyle and JD are not the most graceful of little boys I wished I recorded them. They about fell on their faces every time they bounced.

This one was both boys favorite. It was just a little course. Kyle did really good jumping over the things and everything.

JD did good until he got to the hurdles. He tripped over everyone and knocked them over.

This one they just bounced a ball in the cup.

It was a really fun day for the kids and for me. The next day they had to clean their room. Kyle was so tired at night time that week.
