I was mowing the lawn the other day and noticed our tree had a small problem. I noticed it last year but it wasn't near as bad as this year. So this is a picture of the hole all the way through the tree.
Inside the crack it was totally roting out.
I called around a little and found a guy to cut down two trees. It was fun to watch him climb the trees. We cut down one in the yard and one by the house that we needed cut down so we can do our addition hopefully next year.

alot flatter so it doesn't look like such a big mess, but don't be fooled. Ken said he would do the clean up so he could have to wood. I was so happy he said he would it saved us about $400. I hated getting rid of some shade but thought we better get done.
