Matt really likes me to make him Ruben sandwiches, so the other day I asked if JD if he wanted the other half of mine. He didn't answer me for a while so I had forgot I asked him. Then he tells me.
JD: Can I have a Aunt Robyn.
Me: JD I don't even know what you are talking about.
JD: Can I have a Aunt Robyn too.
Me: (Looking at him like he is crazy)
JD: That thing you are making can I have one.
Me: Oh, yes you can have half of my Ruben.
The other day while I was substituting at Lincoln I was out at recess. It was during Kyle's so I got to watch him play with his little friends (who are all Spanish). Pretty soon him and Gadiel came to talk to me.
Kyle: Can I go with Gadiel and his dad to Mexico?
Me: That sounds like fun.
Kyle: So can I?
Gadiel: (Looking all excited nodding his head)
Me: Well that would be awesome but maybe not right now.
They were totally serious, and all excited. It was pretty cute.
Today me and JD went with Matt to get a plow.
Me: Did daddy bring a chain?
JD: Yes, the gray one. And the black trailer with the broken door.
Me: I hope it won't break. (I am pretty sure it wouldn't but I wanted to see what he would say)
JD: Well dad is really careful with metal.
Me: OK.
JD is sure Matt is the most awesome person in the world.
