We did swimming lessons in June this year like we do every year. Kyle and JD did a great job and I was super impressed at how much they learned in the two weeks of lessons. Neither one passed level 2 but it takes a few years to pass but they got a lot of the things checked off. I just want them to love the water like I do and be able to make it to the side of the pool. I was surprised at how unafraid they were of the water. I told Matt I think it is because of going to the beach last year. They got knocked under the water so much that I think they got over whatever fear they have of it.
Last year I took the boys to the Montrose swimming pool once at the end of the Summer. It is so much fun this year we have already been twice. It has a really fun slide and the pool is not to deep so they can really play in the water.
JD is on his way up the slide. I was kinda sad when he didn't need me to go down with him this year. Last year I got to hold him every time. I am pretty sure JD went down the slide no less than 50 times. Kyle liked the slide too he just didn't go down as much.

JD's first time down all by himself. He came down sitting up this time but he got to where he was laying down and really going fast.
Kyle really goes down fast. Almost every time he was a little to close to JD I thought.

We got out for about 30 minutes and had some lunch and played on the splash pad.
