Grandma Kathy's

In November Matt and I went to Texas to the Ranch Rodeo Finales, and the boys went to Mom's to stay for a few days. Matt and I had a really fun time. We saw lots of guys that make spurs and different things. It was a lot like going to the Stock Show in Denver just not as big. We ate lots of good food and not so good food. It was nice to be able to go on a little trip.

I hated leaving the boys but I knew they would have a good time with Mom and their cousins. We had to drop them off at the baby sitters house. They kinda looked at me like what are you doing to us but they ended up having a good time at Zana's house or as Kyle calls her Xena. Zana also watches Kyler, Ryan and Thad's cousin Emmit, so Kyle was happy to know he had another cousin. They got to go to one of Kyler's basketball games and had fun watching him. Then they got to see Santa!

Mom took them to City Market and Santa was there so she just happened to have her camera and took some pictures.

JD is thinking pretty hard. I think this time they told him they wanted Transformers. When I found out they wanted more Transformers I about fell over they already had enough. Then when we got home Rachel called and said that Sean wanted to give the boys all of his Transformers. So now they have plenty and I told the boys that they probably won't get anymore Transformers for Christmas. They both seem just fine with that. JD told me "We don't need any Transformers for Christmas we have plenty". I told him he was exactly right.

Then Mom took them to Wal-Mart and got sucked in to walking down the toy isle with them. BIG MISTAKE. They like to take their time looking at the toys and pressing buttons and letting everyone what they want. Mom found these swords in the clearance isle and got them. So everyone was happy. They also have plenty of swords!

Kyle's teacher Mrs. Goehl made sure he had his homework to do. So he sat down and did all his homework one night.

JD colored some pictures for Grandma. This is the picture before he got a hold of the black.
Matt and I got back to pick them up on Saturday night and we left Sunday afternoon. We had a ton of fun and I know the boys did too. They love to spend time with Grandma Kathy and their cousins.
