The Wonderful Parade of Lights

On Friday after school Kyle came home to tell us that all his friends were going to a parade and he was wondering if we were going. I knew the Parade of Lights was either Friday or Saturday but wasn't really worried about it because I have been able to miss for the last 5 years. But I guess when you have a kid in school they hear things. I decided since it really wasn't very cold we would maybe go. I called Jolyn to see what time it started and Kyle heard me say 6:00. He has been learning how to tell time in school so he kept watching the clock to make sure we made it out the door before 6.
Even though it wasn't to cold I still made them dress extra warm. They look pretty bundled up.
Waiting for it to start.
Santa was the first float to come by. Kyle and JD were so excited to see him. They waved as big as they could and yelled for him to look at them.

A few people handed out candy.

That was about the best float. My camera was a little slow. I was glad that Kyle told us about it. It was a fun thing to do and the boys loved it.
