Easter always seems to sneak up on me. I always forget about the Easter Bunny and am running around on Saturday trying to decide what to get the boys. This year was no different.
The boys had a great Easter. They got to go to a birthday party/Easter Egg Hunt. They each found 12 eggs with all kinds of goodies in them.

After the party we hurried home to send Matt off to work, then we colored the eggs.

This is getting easier every year, Kyle and JD don't go all willy-
nilly and make a huge mess. I used the brown eggs from our chickens. I didn't know how they were going to turn out, but I thought they were pretty good.

Kyle did one at a time, and JD hurried and put all of his in at the same time.

After they were all colored we let them dry and then the boys put as many stickers on them as they could.

The Easter Bunny did make it to our house and hid the eggs very well I have to say. It took about ten minutes to find them all.

The Easter Bunny brought at shirt and shorts for each boy and a game for their
Leapsters.

Then we went over to Ken and Janie's for breakfast and for the boys to find more eggs and play more
Easter games.

JD hid Kyle's basket and Kyle hid
JD's.

Janie hid eggs for they boys, then Kyle and JD hid eggs for me and Jaine to find. They did a good job hiding them. Then we made Ken and Matt look the the eggs too.
When we got home we had our Easter dinner then Matt had to go to work. It was a nice day. Matt hasn't been able to be off for Easter since he worked at the mine so it was nice to have him for most of the day anyway.
