Gus For Show And Tell

Kyle has been wanting to take Gus for Show and Tell since school started. Matt finally quit working at the sale barn on Thursdays and was able this week to help with Gus at the school. Matt, JD, and Gus wating to go into Kyle's class room.

All the kids thought Gus was awesome. For Show and Tell you have to say three things about what you brought. Kyle's were: I like him, his name is Gus, and he is nice. Then you get to pick someone to ask a question Kyle picked Damien: Do you play with him? Yes, I play at the swinging tree with him.

Mrs. Goehl told the kids that Gus was special because he only has three legs. A few of the girls told Matt that they were sorry that Gus only had three legs. While all the kids were comming up to see Gus, JD was taking the opertunity to have a showing tell of his own. He was telling everyone in a loud voice that he runs fast, jumps high and is nice. He does run fast and is very nice but I have never seen that three leged dog jump. All the kids really loved Gus. Gus was a little nervous but held it together pretty well. When we got back in the car Matt said how good Gus did and I told him I was just happy he didn't pee all over the rug.

We love Gus and are so happy that he is our dog. He really loves the boys too.
