Kyle's First Day of 2nd Grade

I can't hardly believe that my little Kyle is in Second Grade.  I don't like it very much.  To me he should still be running around playing with his dinosaurs, and hanging out with me at home.

On Sunday we got out his first day outfit and got a snack for snack time and got him all ready to go.
I made a big breakfast of Stuffed French Toast and bacon.  I know his plate looks like there is a ton on it but he usually eats at least that much.  Not today he didn't.  He didn't have a big appetite.  I think he was a little nervous but didn't want to admit it.  I asked him if he was on the way to school and he told me that he wasn't because he knew most of the kids in his class and he had friends.
I think JD got a hold of the camera and took this picture.

Such a big kid.  He is so tall and grown up.
I hate to see him go.  We had such a fun summer and I love having him home with me.  He is such a joy to me and his dad.  We love him so much!
His teacher is Mrs. Beckwith.  She is so great, Kyle already loves her and is having a great start to his year.  He said that her library is huge and that they are getting a hamster and she is going to buy everyone a new book and on and on and on.
