I can't believe that this was the last week of summer vacation. I tried to do a few things we have been wanting to do but haven't gotten around to. So while Matt was in Kentucky we went swimming in Montrose. We haven't been there yet and I couldn't believe how fun it was. It had an inside slide and a really fun outside one. The pool was not super deep or to shallow.
We had the Sanders boys come with us. So it was even more fun.Kyle going down the slide.
JD was super brave when we first got there and went right up the slide and I guess was told he was not big enough to go down by himself. I think something else happened like he decided he wanted help going down. So he came down and got me. I don't know how many times we went down the slide but we sure had a good time. After about five times going down with him I asked him if he wanted to try it by himself he told me no. I can't lie it felt good to know that my big kindergartner still needed me.
On Saturday morning we went to the Eckert park and had breakfast with some friends. They played at the park for a little bit then came over and ate.
Mia, Spencer and Kyle.
After eating the sprinklers came on and it was all over. I knew the boys would be getting wet so I didn't even fight it. They were having such a good time.
JD and Tyson.
Tyson, JD, Spencer, Tyler, Sam and Kyle. Drying off before they could get into the cars.
When we got home the boys had Kyler over to play for a bit. I looked out the window and saw them playing in the ditch then five minutes later I went out and they were muddy to the eyeballs.
They all got sprayed off before they were able to come in.
I hate that Kyle and JD are going back to school. I don't feel the summer was long enough. They are such good little boys I will miss hanging out with them all day.
